Eugene Smith Grant in Humanistic Photography for his documentary project “Pollution in China.” His disturbing series chronicles the pollution and health issues affecting China's citizens. There are a lot of horrible pollution and health issues in poor countries like India, Bangladesh, El Salvador, Haiti, etc, but I don't think the world has seen anything like what is happening in China since the Industrial Revolution. If China ever becomes dominant and wealthy, the future Chinese generations better remember all those who suffered...
