Sunday Spectacle XXV

Chicago Board of Trade II
(Andreas Gursky, 1999)

An artistic work by master photographer Andreas Gursky. Some of the details cannot be adequately captured here given how Grusky's works tend to be massive prints, and you really need to stand in front of them. I haven't seen any of Gursky's works in real life (as far as I know.) According to Wikipedia, Gursky holds the record (as of 2007) for the highest paid price for a single photograph - 99 Cent II, Diptych apparently sold for US$3.3m.
